Rangpur:A seminar titled 'The Research Roadmap From Idea Generation to Conceptual Framework, Methodology and Publication' was held at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on Tuesday. The event took place at the Marketing Department Gallery in the university's Academic Building-3 and was organized by the Faculty of Business Studies, with Professor Dr. Md. Nur Alam Siddique, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, presiding.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the seminar featured Professor Dr. Md. Showkat Ali, Vice-chancellor of the university, as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Rakibul Haque, Chairman of the Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) at the University of Dhaka, attended as the resource person and provided an in-depth discussion on various research techniques, idea generation, and the complexities of publishing research papers.
During his address, the chief guest highlighted the importance of quality research for the development of higher education. He noted that seminars like this play a crucial role in fostering a research-oriented mindset among students and equipping them with the skills necessary for all stages of the research process, from idea generation to publication. He also emphasized the university administration's commitment to enhancing research quality to remain competitive in today's world.
The seminar was attended by faculty members and students from the departments under the Faculty of Business Studies.
