Chattogram:Chattogram city BNP held a preparatory meeting to ensure the successful observance of National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7. The meeting took place at the party's Nasimon Bhaban office this afternoon, presided over by Lawmaker Ershad Ullah, Convener of the Chattogram city BNP.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Ershad Ullah emphasized the importance of upholding the ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman to counter conspiracies and hegemonic agendas against the country's independence, sovereignty, and democracy. He highlighted November 7, 1975, as a pivotal moment in the nation's political history, marking a historic uprising by soldiers and the general public that freed Ziaur Rahman from captivity and initiated a new era in the country's political landscape.
The meeting, moderated by Nazimur Rahman, Member Secretary of the Chattogram city BNP, included several joint conveners such as Mohammad Mia Bhola, MA Aziz, Advocate Abdus Sattar, SM Saiful Alam, Kazi Belal Uddin, Harun Zaman, Shah Alam, RU Chowdhury Shahin, Shawkat Azam Khaja, Yasin Chowdhury Liton, Ahmedul Alam Chowdhury Russel, and Shihab Uddin Mubin. A four-day programme from November 5 to 8 was announced in observance of National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
