Jhenaidah:A man has been sent to jail by a court in connection with a case involving the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl in the Sadar upazila of Jhenaidah.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the Jhenaidah Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court issued the order against Enamul Hossain, 25, who resides in the Porahati union of Sadar upazila.
The case details reveal that Enamul reportedly lured the young girl to a paddy field under the guise of catching fish on Sunday, where he allegedly committed the crime. The victim returned home with injuries and informed her family, who then took her to Jhenaidah 250-bed General Hospital for treatment.
Officer-in-Charge Md. Asaduzzaman of Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station stated that the victim's father filed a complaint on Sunday, which led to the immediate arrest of Enamul Hossain.
