Khilgaon:Khilgaon Police have arrested a former central assistant secretary of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) from South Goran in the capital. The arrest occurred on Saturday night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tanvir Ahmed Rakib, 46, was taken into custody around 1145 pm on Saturday from a residence in the area following a tip-off.
Legal proceedings against Rakib are currently underway.
