Chattogram:The US Navy mine countermeasures ship USS Warrior (MCM-10) has arrived in Chattogram to participate in the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Bangladesh 2026 exercise alongside the Bangladesh Navy.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the exercise is scheduled to take place from November 2 to November 6. Acting U.S. Mission Spokesperson Mara Bird provided this information.
The USS Warrior and its crew were welcomed at Chattogram Port by Acting U.S. Defense Attaché Major Carsten Fletcher. CARAT Bangladesh 2026 reflects the U.S. commitment to collaborating with the Bangladesh military on mutual maritime security issues in the region.
The exercise is designed to enhance the partnership between Bangladesh and the United States, contributing to a stronger and more prosperous America, as stated by Mara Bird.
