Girls have also outperformed boys in achieving GPA-5, with a total of 4,520 candidates securing this top grade. Among these, 1,965 are boys and 2,555 are girls. Additionally, the examinations saw the expulsion of 31 candidates. Notably, only 9 colleges achieved a 100 percent pass rate, while 39 colleges had no successful candidates.

The board has seen a decline in pass rates over recent years, with 97.29 percent passing in 2021, 81.60 percent in 2022, 78.46 percent in 2023, 81.24 percent in 2024, and 59.40 percent in 2025. Professor Iffat Zerin explained that students were graded strictly based on their written answers, without any extra marks, impacting the overall results.
