Mirpur:West Indies captain Roston Chase claimed three wickets, causing Bangladesh to falter at 79 for six in their second innings before bad light led to an early close on the third day of the first Test in Mirpur.

Nayeem Hasan and Jaker Ali were both batting on 18 as play was halted after 29 overs, with the pair having added an unbroken 26-run partnership for the seventh wicket. Jaker Ali is playing as a concussion substitute for Mominul Haque, who was injured.
