Lalpur:State Minister for Social Welfare Farzana Sharmin announced that the government has implemented strategic measures to enhance youth skills through job-oriented education and necessary training.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the state minister emphasized the government's aim to create a self-reliant youth workforce with dignified and secure employment opportunities. She made these remarks while addressing a views-exchange meeting at the Lalpur Pilot Girls' High School auditorium, organized by the Study Abroad Consultancy GT Group to expand employment prospects abroad, including in South Korea.

Farzana Sharmin underscored the importance of creating safe and dignified employment opportunities for the country's youth, characterizing them as national assets. She stressed the need for responsible roles by all parties involved to prevent fraudulent employment practices that could lead to financial and social harm. She also pointed out that facilitating employment opportunities in developed countries for Bangladeshi youth could significantly reduce unemployment and positively impact the nation's economy.

Furthermore, she highlighted the necessity of proper training for workers, language skills, and a legal migration process. She stated that young people must be well-informed about the organizations they are joining, including job contracts, salaries, and benefits, with government offices playing a crucial role in ensuring this information is accessible and accurate.

The meeting also included speeches from Lalpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kazi Meshkatul Islam, GT Group Chairman Park Ji Young, and Chief Executive Officer Mahmudul Hasan Mamun.
