Thakurgaon:President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the passing of Bishwanath Dey Dhara, a renowned sports personality from Thakurgaon and a former sports teacher at Thakurgaon Government College.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the President described Bishwanath Dey Dhara as a prominent figure in the sports arena of Thakurgaon and noted his popularity among the local people as a gentleman. The President remarked that his death represents an irreparable loss to the sports and cultural communities of Thakurgaon.
In his message of condolence, the President prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and extended deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
