Dhaka:The Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Standing Committee on the Ministry of Defence has put forward recommendations to enhance the country's defence system. This decision was reached during the second meeting of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad committee, convened in the Cabinet Room of the Parliament Complex.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was chaired by Committee Chairman Md Ashraf Uddin and included the participation of several committee members such as Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni, SM Jilani, Whip Mia Nuruddin Ahmed Apu, Abdus Salam Azad, Lutfur Rahman, and Md Abdul Baten.
The meeting focused on the overall activities of the Ministry of Defence. In addition to the committee members, the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, other relevant officials, and representatives from the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat were in attendance, as stated in a press release issued in the evening.
