Keraniganj:A 45-year-old man who sustained severe burn injuries in a recent fire at a toy factory in Keraniganj has died, raising the death toll from the incident to two.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the victim, identified as Md Manik, passed away at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS) on Tuesday. He succumbed to his injuries at around 1230 am while receiving treatment in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The fire, which occurred on Monday, had initially claimed the life of one individual and left three others injured. Dr. Sultan Mahmud Shikder, the resident medical officer of NIBPS, confirmed Manik's death during his hospital stay.
