Dhaka:Bangladesh is set to spotlight its sustainable apparel transformation through the 'Impact Zone' at BATEXPO 2026, a move seen as a significant chapter in the country's industrial evolution.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the 'Impact Zone' at BATEXPO 2026 will focus on showcasing advancements in environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance within the ready-made garment (RMG) sector. Key initiatives to be highlighted include efforts in decarbonization, renewable energy, recycling, circularity, and resource efficiency, as well as gender equity, worker health and nutrition, childcare, and maternal care.

The event will also feature digital traceability solutions such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP), aligning with evolving European Union (EU) regulations and global supply-chain requirements. The initiative aims to demonstrate how Bangladesh's apparel industry is adopting advanced industrial practices to enhance sustainability, transparency, and global competitiveness.
