Rajshahi:Rajshahi City Corporation Administrator and Rajshahi City BNP General Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman Riton has emphasized the pivotal role of Jubo Dal in realizing the Prime Minister's vision for a new Bangladesh. He stated that BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is making significant efforts to transform the nation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Riton made these remarks at a youth rally organized by Rajshahi City Jubo Dal at Butter Mor, marking the 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Jubo Dal. He urged the leaders and activists of Jubo Dal to play a central role in fulfilling the aspirations of the country, the nation, and its youth.
Riton highlighted the historical contributions of Jubo Dal in democratic movements and expressed hope that the organization will continue to leverage the power and creativity of the youth for the country's welfare. He emphasized the importance of patriotism and public welfare in their efforts. Additionally, he urged collective efforts to transform Rajshahi City into a metropolis free from drugs, terrorism, and extortion, with the support and leadership of the Prime Minister.
The rally was attended by Advocate Shafiqul Haque Milon, MP, who served as the chief guest, and was presided over by Rajshahi City Jubo Dal Convener Shariful Islam Johnny. The event also saw participation from Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP President Mamun Or Rashid and other senior leaders. A colorful procession from Sadar Hospital Mor to Butter Mor preceded the rally, with widespread participation from Jubo Dal members across different levels.
