Dammam:Dhaka Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced the suspension of all Dhaka-Dammam flights scheduled for October 23, 24, and 25. Additionally, the suspension of flights to Riyadh has been extended until October 31. The decision was made to ensure passenger safety following an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the national flag carrier emphasized that the ongoing air attacks have necessitated the suspension of flights to Riyadh until the end of October. Biman Bangladesh Airlines assured passengers that further decisions on the suspended flights and any revised schedules will be communicated in due course.
While flights to Dammam and Riyadh are affected, Biman's services from Dhaka to Jeddah and Madinah will continue as per their existing schedules. Passengers with urgent travel needs to Dammam and Riyadh can opt to travel via Jeddah and Madinah airports, provided seats are available.
