Sirajganj:Prime Minister's Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar today laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of Shaheed A K Shamsuddin Gate, named after a martyred sub-divisional administrator of the district. He formally inaugurated the reconstruction work by unveiling the commemorative plaque at a ceremony this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the reconstruction work is being carried out under the supervision of Sirajganj Deputy Commissioner Md Aminul Islam and implemented by Sirajganj Municipality. The event was attended by Sirajganj Superintendent of Police Md Saiful Islam Santoo, BNP Central Executive Committee member and Sirajganj district unit General Secretary Saidur Rahman Bachchu, along with local dignitaries and senior administrative officials.
Earlier in the day, Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar visited the Sirajganj BSCIC Industrial Park. During the visit, he planted a tree on the industrial park premises and addressed officials concerned and local dignitaries. In his speech, he provided necessary directives on accelerating work at the industrial park, ensuring environmentally friendly development, and highlighting its importance to the economic prosperity of the district.
