Patuakhali:BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi expressed deep sorrow today over the passing of Moslem Uddin Howlader, a member of Baufal Municipal BNP in Patuakhali district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Moslem Uddin passed away at his residence at 130 pm. He was 70 years old.
In a condolence message, Rizvi highlighted Moslem Uddin Howlader's dedication to the principles and ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and Bangladeshi nationalism. He acknowledged Moslem Uddin's efforts in establishing a strong foundation for Baufal Municipal BNP.
Rizvi noted the courage Moslem Uddin demonstrated in advocating for democratic rights under the leadership of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Deshnetri late Begum Khaleda Zia, stating that it will continue to inspire local BNP leaders and activists.
He also prayed to Almighty Rabbul Alamin to grant the deceased a place in Jannah and to provide strength to his bereaved family to endure the loss with patience.
