Algiers:State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir arrived in Algiers for a two-day official visit aimed at advancing cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, and agriculture between Bangladesh and Algeria.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Kobir was welcomed by Abdelmalek Bouheddou, the Director General for Asia and Oceania at the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, upon his arrival.
During his visit, Kobir is scheduled to meet with the Algerian Prime Minister as well as ministers responsible for hydrocarbons, foreign affairs, and agriculture, rural development, and fisheries. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral ties through enhanced cooperation in energy, trade, and agriculture, along with other issues of mutual interest.
