Accra:The family of Nurul Haque, a Bangladeshi expatriate killed in Saudi Arabia in 2023, has been awarded compensation from the Saudi government through the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, family members met with State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam to express their gratitude for the ministry's support in securing the compensation.
During the meeting, the state minister inquired about the family's safety and well-being. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs played a key role in facilitating the compensation efforts, which resulted in the family receiving the payment last week.
