Bhola:Information and Broadcasting Minister Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho has donated Taka 29 lakh to 29 temples in Bhola district to assist with the celebration of Sharadiya Durga Puja. The funds were provided on behalf of the ministry to ensure the smooth organization of the festivities.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the donation was distributed among 27 Durga Puja mandaps in Bhola Sadar, the Shri Shri Kali Mata Temple, and the Bhola Municipal Maha Crematorium, with each receiving Taka one lakh.
The financial assistance is intended to support the temples and puja mandaps in organizing the Durga Puja, which is the largest religious and cultural festival for the Bengali Hindu community. During the event, Andaleeve Rahman extended greetings to the Sanatan community and encouraged the promotion of communal harmony throughout the festival.
