Narail:A 45-year-old woman was killed in a road accident in Sadar upazila this morning. The victim, Mukta Rani Biswas, was from North Kholishakhali village in Shingasholpur Union.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred around 730 am near Gobra Mitro College in the upazila. Mukta Rani was on her way to Mushuri village for painting, traveling on a motorcycle with a colleague, when a speeding motorcycle collided with them.
Locals rushed Mukta to Narail District Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival. The Officer-in-Charge of Narail Sadar Police Station, Rasel Sarwar, stated that police have recovered the body and handed it over to the family after completing necessary legal formalities.
