Chattogram:Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) carried out an eviction drive against illegal structures at Patenga Sea Beach in the port city this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation was led by CCC Regional Executive Officer-6 Pronoy Chakma and Regional Executive Officer-5 Subal Chakma. They were joined by officials from the relevant zones, superintendents, and personnel from Patenga Police Station, Tourist Police, Ansar forces, and CCC's striking force.
CCC officials emphasized that these eviction drives are part of ongoing efforts to preserve the natural beauty and environment of Patenga Sea Beach. The initiative aims to ensure a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for tourists visiting the area.
