Chattogram:Mahbubur Rahman Shamim, Administrator of the Chattogram Zila Parishad, announced the council's commitment to continue assisting underprivileged individuals, ensuring access to medical treatment and education regardless of financial challenges.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shamim spoke as the chief guest at a cheque distribution ceremony for educational and medical assistance at the Chattogram Zila Parishad seminar room. He emphasized that the council will organize assistance programs every one to two months.
Aligned with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's directives, the Zila Parishad aims to support those in need within its financial limits, focusing on healthcare and education access.
The ceremony was attended by Chowdhury Raushan Islam, Chief Executive Officer of the Chattogram Zila Parishad, as the special guest, and moderated by Zila Parishad Executive Officer Khondkar Md. Ikhtiar Uddin Arafat. Among the attendees were officials, staff, and assistance recipients, including Assistant Engineer Md. Jahedul Islam.
