Siena:Brigadier General Md Anwarul Kabir has officially assumed his role as the new Inspector General of Prisons.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Brigadier General Kabir was welcomed by acting IG Prisons Colonel Mesbahul Alam Salim, Additional IG Prisons Md Jahangir Kabir, and other senior officials upon his arrival at the Department of Prisons.
His appointment to this top position in the prison department was announced by the Ministry of Public Administration in a notification issued on October 4.
