Manikganj:Food Minister Afroza Khanam Rita has called on students to focus on becoming educated, principled, patriotic, and compassionate citizens, contributing to the vision of a new Bangladesh.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister emphasized the importance of students developing strong moral principles and patriotism alongside their education. She encouraged them to use their knowledge, skills, and sense of responsibility for nation-building.
The remarks were made during a reception for newly admitted Class XI students at Monno International School and College in Monno City, located in Gilanda under Manikganj Sadar upazila. The event was chaired by the institution's principal, Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.) Md. Jahirul Islam.
The program also saw the presence of several notable attendees, including ADC (Education and ICT) Md. Khayrul Islam, ASP Mohoram Ali, Assistant Professor of Manikganj Government Debendra College Mahmud Hasan, and Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas, along with teachers and students.
