Chattogram:BNP held a protest procession in Chattogram today, opposing what it described as attempts to destabilize the country through orchestrated terror and anarchy.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the procession was organized by the Ward No. 15 (Bagmoniram) unit of the BNP and its affiliated organizations. It commenced in the Kazir Dewri area and concluded at the Golpahar Intersection with a brief rally.
During the rally, Chattogram city BNP Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman, speaking as the chief guest, urged party leaders and activists to remain vigilant against efforts to disrupt peace and order in the country. He emphasized the importance of building a united resistance by mobilizing the populace.
Rahman accused Sheikh Hasina, from abroad, of conspiring to create instability in Bangladesh and claimed that her supporters within the country were attempting to incite violence, arson, and sabotage. He called on everyone to play a vigilant and responsible role in countering these activities and stressed the need for unity to protect democracy, people's rights, and national sovereignty.
The event also saw the participation of City BNP Joint Conveners Yasin Chowdhury Liton, Shihab Uddin Mubin, Manjur Rahman Chowdhury, Nur Hossain, Mohammad Sekandar, Bagmoniram Ward BNP Convener Rashed Chowdhury, and Member Secretary Md. Sarwar, among others.
