Khulna:Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Administrator Nazrul Islam Manju conducted an inspection of mosquito control and cleanliness activities in wards 8 and 9 of the city.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this inspection is part of the Prime Minister's three-month cleanliness campaign aimed at controlling dengue infection. Manju has been actively visiting various wards to monitor the campaign's progress.
Manju assured that steps would be taken to address existing issues and encouraged private voluntary organizations to assist in resolving sanitation and drinking water crises. He emphasized that the cleanliness drive will persist until a clean and healthy environment is achieved in the city.
Present during the inspection were KCC Chief Executive Officer Razib Ahmed, Chief Waste Management Officer Md Anisur Rahman, Executive Engineer Sheikh Md Masud Karim, Executive Magistrate Abdullah Al Imran, and social workers Advocate Fazle Halima Liton, Biplabur Rahman Quddus, Md Saiful Alam, and Kazi Mahbubul Haque.
