Khulna:Lawmaker of the Khulna-3 constituency and National Parliament Whip, Rakibul Islam Bakul, has emphasized that individuals who disrupt peace and law and order in the area will face consequences, regardless of their political affiliations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bakul made these remarks while attending a program organized by Maheshwarpasha Paschimpara Samaj Kalyan Sangstha in Daulatpur. The event was aimed at distributing mosquito nets and mosquito-killing devices to the poor and distressed to protect them from dengue.
Bakul reiterated his commitment to taking necessary actions to ensure the peace and security of the people, in line with the Prime Minister's commitments. He stressed that no one would be allowed to disturb peace in the area, emphasizing that measures would be taken regardless of political identity.
The program was attended by Khulna City BNP Organising Secretary Sheikh Sadi, Daulatpur Thana BNP President M. Murshid Kamal, and General Secretary Imam Hossain as special guests. Abdus Sattar Molla, the adviser to Paschimpara Samaj Kalyan Sangstha, chaired the event, which also saw the distribution of footballs to local players, alongside the mosquito control items. Leaders and activists from BNP, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal were also present.
