Dhaka:Gas supply will be interrupted for 10 hours in several areas of the city on Thursday due to emergency repair work on a pipeline, as announced by Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the company issued a notice stating that the gas supply will be suspended from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in regions including Agargaon, western parts of Taltala, Shewrapara, Kazipara, and Mirpur-10. Other affected areas include Mirpur-1, Paikpara, Kalyanpur, Shyamoli, Mirpur 60 Feet, and Pirerbagh.
The suspension of gas services will impact residential, commercial, and CNG users in the specified zones. Titas also mentioned that adjoining areas might experience reduced gas pressure during the repair period.
The company has apologized for the temporary inconvenience to its customers.
