Gournadi:Government officials have announced a new initiative to introduce 'Meet the Press' programs across all public service departments and offices, aiming to enhance transparency and accountability in government services.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Zahir Uddin Swapon, the Prime Minister's Political Adviser, highlighted this decision while speaking to journalists. The announcement was made during a fish fingerlings release event organized by the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Fisheries Officer's Office in Gournadi, Barishal district.
Swapon emphasized that these regular 'Meet the Press' programs will be held at all government departments and offices to provide citizens with essential information and to make government services more dynamic. He noted that this initiative would aid in delivering information to the public and improve coordination between the administration and the media.
