Rajshahi:Seven students from the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) have been nominated for the prestigious 'Prime Minister Gold Medal'.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the nominations were awarded based on the students' outstanding academic performances. The selection process involved a thorough review of applications submitted from 2019 to 2021, representing various universities across the country.
In total, 469 students have been nominated for the 'Prime Minister Gold Medal', which is a recognition introduced by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The RUET recipients are Sumaiya Tabassum, Miftahul Mobin Chowdhury, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Tamanna Sultana Swarna, Shahinur Alam, Md. Mainul Islam, and Zahid Hasan.
RUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak extended congratulations to the students on behalf of the RUET community, acknowledging their significant achievement.
