Dhaka:Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda has shared that his wife and fellow actor Rashmika Mandanna tells him 'I love you' at least 10 to 15 times a day, emphasizing the significance of expressing love in a long-term relationship.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the couple discussed their views on love and relationships during an appearance on Prakhar Gupta's podcast while promoting their upcoming film, Ranabaali, set to release on October 16.
This film marks their first on-screen collaboration since getting married. During the podcast, Gupta compared love to a car that drives itself, suggesting that it allows people to enjoy the journey without controlling every turn. Rashmika agreed, adding that relationships still require consistent effort even when love is natural.
She noted that while people often make considerable efforts for others, they sometimes neglect those closest to them. Rashmika observed that couples might gradually stop exchanging simple expressions of care, which are essential for maintaining a strong connection.
Vijay, when asked about his understanding of love, praised Rashmika's approach to relationships. He explained that although he constantly feels love for his wife, he sometimes needs reminders to communicate these feelings through words.
Meanwhile, their film Ranabaali, inspired by the Madras Famine of 1876-78, highlights one of the darkest chapters in Indian history. The film is set to premiere in theaters on October 16.
