Rampura:Traffic police have detained two individuals who were allegedly fleeing after snatching a mobile phone from a pedestrian near Rampura Bridge in the capital.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the detainees have been identified as Md Imran, 20, and Md Raihan, 23. The incident reportedly occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Upon hearing a commotion, traffic police personnel arrived at the scene and observed the two men attempting to flee after allegedly seizing a mobile phone from a pedestrian. The officers pursued and apprehended the suspects at the bridge.
The Deputy Commissioner of DMP (Media), Akhtar Hossain, stated that the suspects will be presented before the Special Metropolitan Magistrate's Court.
