Islami Bank International School Hosts Annual Prize Distribution and Cultural Program

Dhaka:Islami Bank International School and College hosted its annual prize distribution and cultural program for 2026 at the Bangladesh Film Archive Auditorium in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Saturday.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the event featured Mohammad Zahir Hussain, Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Islami Bank Foundation, as the chief guest. In his address, Hussain emphasized the importance of not only academic success but also morality, discipline, creativity, and co-curricular activities in students' development. He highlighted that these aspects are crucial for unlocking students' latent talents and fostering their holistic personal growth.

The program was presided over by KM Monyrul Alam Al-Mamun, Executive Director of Islami Bank Foundation. Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim, Acting Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh and foundation member, along with Md. Habibur Rahman, Company Secretary of the bank and foundation member, attended as special guests. Md. Anisul Haque, Chairman of the school's Managing Committee, also addressed the gathering.

Other notable attendees included Islami Bank Foundation DGM Mohammad Jashim Uddin, AGMs Kabir Uddin and Abdur Rahim, Education Division In-charge Nurunnabi Chowdhury, School Coordinator Dr. Khondokar Ummul Khairun Fatima, and Acting Principal Md. Nasir Uddin. Teachers, students, parents, and invited guests were present as well.

The event concluded with the presentation of awards and crests to meritorious students, followed by a cultural performance by the students.
