Dhaka:The country received $8,591 million in workers' remittances from July 1 to September 30 in the current fiscal year (FY2026-27), representing a 13.3 percent rise compared to $7,586 million during the same period the previous fiscal year.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the latest data revealed that in September 2026 alone, remittances amounted to $2,745 million, which is a 2.2 percent increase from $2,686 million in September 2025.
The data also indicated that on September 30, 2026, Bangladesh received $105 million in remittances.
