Rajshahi:A seminar titled 'The Clean Energy Horizon: Advancing Power Innovation and Green Technologies' took place at the University of Rajshahi (RU).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was a collaborative effort by the RU Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (BEPRC). The seminar's inaugural ceremony, conducted at the Faculty of Engineering Gallery, featured BEPRC Chairman Muhammad Wahid Hossain as the chief guest and RU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid as the special guest.
The seminar was led by IQAC Director Professor Md. Abu Reza. Professor Monimul Haque, IQAC Additional Director, delivered the welcome address, while the vote of thanks was extended by Additional Director Professor Kamal Uddin.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Director of Innovation at BEPRC, shared insights and data on BEPRC's introduction and activities during the technical session. Additionally, papers were presented by Salma Sultana, Deputy General Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC, and Professor Md. Shafiqul Islam from the Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. BEPRC Director Professor Rashed Kamal provided commentary on the presented papers.
