Jakarta:Bangladesh concluded their FIFA ASEAN Cup journey with a heavy 9-2 defeat against Indonesia in their last Group A match at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Indonesia took control of the game early, securing a strong victory and finishing the group stage with seven points from three matches. Bangladesh ended the tournament without scoring any points. Le Baker was instrumental in Indonesia's win, scoring the first goal in the 11th minute, assisted by Ole Romeny, and adding another in the 20th minute. Rizky Ridho contributed by setting up the third goal in the 32nd minute. Bangladesh managed to score in the 36th minute when Shahriar Emon converted Shuki's cross. However, Indonesia quickly regained the advantage, with Le Baker completing his hat-trick just a minute later and adding a fourth goal in the 42nd minute. Justin Hubner scored Indonesia's sixth goal in first-half stoppage time. Indonesia maintained their momentum in the second half, with Luke Vickery scorin g in the 90th minute. Bangladesh's substitute Farhaan Ali scored their second goal shortly after. Kevin Diks expanded Indonesia's lead to 8-2 during stoppage time, and Le Baker achieved his fifth goal, finalizing the 9-2 victory. This match concluded Bangladesh's participation in the tournament, following previous losses of 3-0 to Malaysia and 1-0 to Singapore.
