Jhenaidah:The Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a special operation, resulting in the arrest of three individuals, including Tuhin Reza, a vice president of the central committee of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), which is currently banned. The operation took place on Wednesday night in the Jhenaidah district.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the other individuals arrested were Imdadul Haq Sohag, a local Awami League leader and owner of Yafat Filling Station, and Saddam Hossain, a BCL leader from Naldanga village. The arrests occurred at approximately 1030 pm.
Following initial questioning at the DB office, all three individuals were transferred to Kaliganj Police Station. Officer-in-Charge Shariful Islam stated that legal proceedings are underway to bring the detainees before a court.
