Islami Bank Launches Cyber Security Awareness Campaign in Dhaka

Dhaka:Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has initiated a month-long "Cyber Security Awareness" campaign aimed at enhancing data protection, maintaining customer trust, and developing a robust digital banking infrastructure.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the campaign was inaugurated by Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim, the bank's Managing Director (Current Charge), who served as the chief guest at a ceremony held at Islami Bank Tower in Dhaka. Dr. Jasim highlighted the growing importance of cyber security in the digital age and stressed the bank's commitment to ensuring customer trust and data security. He urged every official and employee to actively participate in cyber security measures.

The event was chaired by Executive Vice President Mohammad Rezaul Karim, with Senior Vice President S M Mizanur Rahman delivering the welcome address. The ceremony was attended by Islami Bank Deputy Managing Directors Md. Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, Md. Maksudur Rahman, Abu Sayed Md. Idris, and Md. Zakir Hossain, along with other senior executives and officials.

The program also included virtual participation by all zone heads, branch managers, and sub-branch in-charges across the country.
