Dhaka:State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir has emphasized Bangladesh's commitment to engaging with India in a 'forward-looking and mutually respectful' manner on issues of mutual interest and benefit.
According to United News of Bangladesh, during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi congratulated the State Minister on his recent appointment.
The discussions between Kobir and Trivedi covered a range of topics, including bilateral issues as well as regional and international matters, such as the recent 81st United Nations General Assembly held in New York.
