Chapainawabganj:Two young men drowned while taking a bath in the Mahananda River in Diar Dhainagar, located in the Gobratala Union under Sadar upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the victims were identified as Sujon, 18, and Sabbir, 19. Sujon was the son of Abdur Rahim from Mahipur Bhatopara village, and Sabbir was the son of Sobhan from the same area.
Ekramul Hossain, the officer-in-charge of Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station, stated that legal proceedings related to the incident are currently underway.
