Dhaka: Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves stood at $36.31 billion, according to the latest data released by the Bangladesh Bank today. The central bank provided these figures as part of their regular updates on the country's financial health.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the central bank indicated that under the International Monetary Fund's Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM-6) accounting standard, the reserves were recorded at $31.45 billion. Officials noted that the reserve position reflects the country's external sector stability amidst ongoing global economic uncertainties.
