Rajshahi: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and the International Institute of Business Analysis Bangladesh Chapter (IIBA-BD). The agreement was signed this noon in the RUET Vice-Chancellor's (VC's) conference room. Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Abdur Razzak was present as the chief guest at the ceremony.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the main objective of this bilateral agreement is to raise awareness about Business Analysis among RUET's teachers, officers, employees, and students, improve professional skills, and create opportunities for career enrichment. The agreement outlines several areas for collaboration, including the joint organization of seminars, workshops, training programs, and certification-related sessions, tailored to the professional needs of RUET's community.
Members of RUET will have the opportunity to engage in networking events, seminars, and conferences organized by IIBA Bangladesh. There will also be opportunities to organize events through joint initiatives or sponsorships. The agreement further facilitates the exchange of opportunities for internships, research, consultancy, and jobs between the two institutions.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, mentoring, and certification study circles are also planned for business analysis professionals. Introductory sessions on global standards of business analysis and IIBA certifications will be conducted, with special certification preparation facilities provided through IIBA Approved Training Providers (ATPs).
RUET will have the chance to represent itself by participating in IIBA Bangladesh's Business Analysis Summit, various competitions, and award programs, which will help enhance their professional network and brand visibility. Both parties have expressed hope that this agreement will open new horizons for RUET's teachers and students in the field of business analysis and professional networking.
