Crude Bomb Blast Injures Autorickshaw Driver in Jatrabari

Dhaka: An autorickshaw driver was injured after a crude bomb exploded near a police box in the capital's Jatrabari area on Friday night. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. near the Jatrabari Chaurasta police box.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the victim was identified as Ibadur Rahman, 26, son of Lutfur Rahman of Sadulla village in Kurigram's Ulipur upazila. He currently resides in the Manda under Mugda area in Dhaka.

Police Constable Tuhin of Jatrabari Police Station rescued the injured driver and rushed him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at 8:25 p.m., where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Habibur Rahman, DMCH Police Camp In-Charge Inspector, stated that the injured driver was brought to the hospital with blast injuries caused by a crude bomb.
