Netrakona: A mobile court today fined Al Noor Bakery Taka 50,000 for producing food items in unhygienic and dirty conditions. The mobile court conducted the drive at the factory of Al Noor Bakery on Kendua Road in Sadar upazila at noon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the authorities fined the bakery for preparing food in an unhygienic environment and violating consumer rights by failing to provide the promised services. Executive Magistrate Md Sahabuddin conducted the mobile court on behalf of the district administration.
He stated that such drives would continue to protect consumer rights and curb the unregulated proliferation of bakeries.
