Bangladesh’s Gross Forex Reserves Rise to $36.32bn

Dhaka: Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves stood at US$36.32 billion (gross), according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) today. The increase in reserves is a significant marker for the country's economic standing in the global market.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the country's gross foreign exchange reserves have reached US$36.32 billion. However, when calculated under the International Monetary Fund's BPM6 methodology, the reserves are recorded at US$31.47 billion. This distinction highlights the variations in reserve calculations based on different international financial standards.
