Chattogram: A Chattogram court has granted a two-day remand for 63 foreign nationals apprehended on suspicion of perpetrating online fraud operations within the West Khulshi-Jalalabad district here. The court has instructed the law enforcement members to submit the investigative findings within a 20-day timeframe. Chattogram Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Muhidul Islam issued the directive.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mohammad Hasan Iqbal Chowdhury, serving as acting deputy commissioner (prosecution) for Chattogram Metropolitan, stated, "The court has sanctioned a two-day remand for the 63 foreign nationals." The defendants were present in the court under police supervision this morning. They participated in the courtroom proceedings during the remand petition hearing.
