Rangpur: A motorcyclist was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a truck at Pratap Jaysen Darar Par village under Pirgachha police station in the district this morning. The deceased was identified as Hamidul Islam, 15, son of Md Atiar Rahman of Pratap Jaysen Darar Par village.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pirgacha Police Station Md Selim Malik stated that the rider died on the spot after a speeding truck struck the motorcycle. The OC further added that the body was handed over to the victim's family following a preliminary investigation and legal formalities.
