57 Arrested in Dhaka Anti-Crime Operation

Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Motijheel division arrested 57 people during a regular anti-crime drive in crime-prone areas of the capital on Monday. The operation targeted various locations within the division, aiming to curb unlawful activities.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were made on September 14, with the Khilgaon police leading with 24 arrests. Other arrests included nine by Motijheel police, nine by Paltan police, three by Sabujbagh police, three by Rampura police, six by Shahjahanpur police, and three by Mugda police. Following the operation, the arrested individuals were sent to a court, as stated in a DMP press release.
