Zahid Urges BNP Leaders to Maintain Unity for Upcoming Elections

Nilphamari: Minister for Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare Professor Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain has called upon BNP leaders and workers to remain united, emphasizing that unity is crucial for success in the upcoming national and local government elections.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Zahid made these remarks as the chief guest at an exchange-of-views meeting with district BNP leaders at Nilphamari Circuit House. He highlighted the importance of party discipline, internal unity, and gaining public confidence. Dr. Zahid cautioned against engaging in mudslinging, noting that such behavior would not garner public support.

Dr. Zahid described BNP as an inclusive party that thrives on collective effort. He urged party members to strengthen the organization by involving individuals committed to its politics and ideology. He also advocated for assigning leadership roles to individuals who have proven their resilience during challenging times.

In his address to the leaders and workers, Dr. Zahid emphasized the need for patience, loyalty, and respect for leadership. He credited the resurgence of BNP to the dedication of its leaders, workers, and public support, underscoring that political struggles require integrity and unwavering loyalty to leadership.

The meeting was chaired by Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, convener of the Association of Engineers Bangladesh, and was attended by leaders from district BNP and affiliated organizations.
