Jamalpur: State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Yasser Khan Choudhury, announced today that necessary manpower and vehicles will be provided to law enforcement agencies in phases to improve law and order situations. In a statement made at a district monthly law and order meeting held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner, he emphasized the importance of supporting law enforcement to ensure public safety and community well-being.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Yasser Khan Choudhury highlighted drug-related issues as a significant hindrance to development and a contributor to rising crime rates within society. He urged for a unified approach to control drug problems, directing the formation of committees at grassroots levels to support law enforcement in eradicating drugs.
During the meeting, the state minister assured that there is no fertilizer crisis in the country, with sufficient stocks available to sustain agricultural activities. He instructed relevant authorities to monitor and manage the distribution of fertilizer effectively.
The meeting was attended by several notable figures, including Local Lawmaker Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun, AE Sultan Mahmud Babu, MP, Md Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim, MP, Mostafizur Rahman Babul, MP, Administrator of Jamalpur Zilla Parishad Sirazul Haque, Superintendent of Police Mst Farhana Yasmin, and Commander of the 35 Battalion of BGB, Lt.
